Guest guest
It took me a while to be able to sleep on either side, but it got better as the time went on. The biggest thing I had to deal with was after the filter implant sleeping on my side, but after a few weeks, it got to where I was comfortable on my left side which is the one where I prefer to sleep. Guest guest
The worst of my pain was on the left side as well. I could sleep on my side w/ a pillow under my stomach to support it. Guest guest
Hi, Jackie, I am doing really well with my eating. As you know, all surgeons are different. I am allowed soft type foods, like cottage cheese, oatmeal, SF pudding, instant mashed potatoes and stage 1 and 2 baby food fruits and vegetables. I have 3 meals a day of 2 ounces each, plus 4 glasses of 1% milk with 1 cup of dried milk and 2 bottles of water a day. I do not drink anything 1/2 hour before a meal, until 1/2 hour after a meal. I'm really not experiencing hunger. I am walking quite a bit. I was able to sleep on my side a little last night, so the back is better today. I hope you are doing well. Keep me posted. Take care. Guest guest
I had pain in my left back side as well but that was because I had a super huge bruise there & the nurse said I was probably dropped while being moved from table to table. Guest guest
Oooh! I am still on jello, broth, juices, tea or coffee. I am looking forward to next week when I can move on to the soft stage. I have not been hungry though. Just want something different. You seem to be doing well. I am also able to sleep on my side a little. I don't have much pain. Just a stitch if I move the wrong way. I had so much scar tissue she cleaned out I guess I will be sore from that too. Guest guest
, Great detail! Sounds like you're doing a lot to keep everything in order. Keep up the great focus. It's good to hear you're feeling upbeat and well. Do a little more every few days or week if you can. Even though I went through similar things I can't help but admire anyone that goes through post-op wls and all the rules and restrictions. Congratulations!
