Oh my goodness. To wake up and read something like this was so touching. Thank

you so much for your kind words, . I just want you to know that when

Mitoldes was born, it was out of a need for adult support. No one needed it

more than me and the group has been a sustaining force in my life since then. I

am grateful every day for my association with all of you and the strength you

all provide. So out of a selfish need, we became the Mitoldies.

Laurie, and recently Kristy and Cindy, who joined to help moderate, are

always here to help and I am so grateful for them. Sometimes I just can't

believe the warm words of wisdom and courage that come from the moderators but

also from all of you. It takes all of us to make the list the " port in the

storm of mito " as you mentioned.

You did ask if I plan to attend the conference in Pittsburgh. It is very

doubtful that I will be able to attend unless something comes along finacially.

I spent a great deal of money to go to Cleveland and Michigan last month and

don't see my way clear to make the trip to Pittsburgh in August. Additionally,

if my health issues remain the same, I'm not in good position to travel alone

which is what I would probably have to do. I'm sorry to have to say this but

it's best to face it now than drag out what is innevitable. I would have loved

to meet all of you at the conference. I hope someone will make sure there's a

MO get together as we have done for the last three conferences. I'll be there

in spirit.
