Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't posted much lately but do try to read when I can and keep up with you all. I've been fighting ainfection/inflammation in the incision from the pec minor surgery I had back in October, apparently a suture that was festering and irritating the area. Last week I went in and had a local surgeon open the incision, he couldn't visualize the asuture so it either finally dissolved or is so close you can't see it, and there was no pus present, so good news. But very irritated! He closed it again with regular stitches, and if all goes well this time I will get them out Dec 13. This thing abcessed 2 times, drained pus twice, and I went through 2 rounds of antibiotics and still had a fluid- filled pocket on top of the incision! Stubborn cuss! So hope to be able to start PT and return to warm water therapy once these stitches are removed! Tonia, I have some things my 9 year-old has outgrown, some her older siter wore but the 9 year-old didn't like, you know how that goes. ANyway, if you let me know what sizes your girls wear and your address I'd be happy to get them to someone who could use them. And I'm in IL, it's not that big a deal for postage, so I wd like to do this. I may have winter boots too. Don't have any boys though - wonder if we hadn't stopped at two? Anyway, you can send me the info at bjones@... What's your weather been like? We got a bad snowstorm the day before Thansgiving, I went back to bed at 9:30 a.m. and stayed there til 5:30, the cold just got me right down to my bones. Think it is whenever a big wether system change, once the weather stabilizes it is at least more bearable. It hasn't been horribly cold overall yet for this time of year, is supposed to hit 51 tomorrow, it could stay like this til spring far as I'm concerned. Like that's gonna happen LOL! Take care and stay safe and warm everyone and hope your days are bright and sunny and your pain is less, beth
