Yes; thank you thank you thank you.... You will not believe how many times I

have gotten the eye roll on this. For me (I am almost 50) it has become so

severe that I am unable to sleep or walk or do much of anything. I pop

those naprosyn like they are candy and it never really stops the pain. I

just keep hoping that it all stops before I damage my hip and leg to the

point that they will be useless. I am aware that that muscles is actually

in a permanent contraction at this point and shortening in length. I can

also feel where it attaches. When I am in the middle of this pain I

sometimes forget that it will eventually end - it is so constant - that I

sometimes think I will do anything to make it stop. It lasts for about a

week - sometimes more (wondering if I am doing something to injure it during

this time that makes it last longer). That is a long time to realize that

there is nothing that one can do during that time; and yet you have to make

dinner and clean and drive etc. I feel like I maybe have two productive

weeks in a month because of whatever this is. Instead my docs keep telling

me it is my spondiliothesis; or it is referred pain (ha) or worse.

You mentioned that the woman said that about your feet -- that there were no

shoes for you.... I was being fitted for my wheel chair and the guy was

adjusting the feet 'thingies'. He looked really concerned and had me move

around a lot. Then he told me 'you need to ask your doctor if you have ever

had a fractured pelvis'. Of course my doc sighs and shrugs.

Anyway; just wanted to say I appreciate you mentioning that you have this

and I am not alone; though sorry you have to live with this as well.
