really don't have any Christmas rituals its just make it thru the holidays one by one. Kinda a bummer with no close family. Always hoped my family would be close.. Didn't turn out the way I planned. Oh well. Hope everyone is reved up for the holidays with shopping and baking the goodies. I will be doing some more of that this weekend. Like to give it away. Send me some addy's and maybe Santa will be good to you!!!

Hey there Laurie,

My address is in the database, just in case Santa wants to surprise me. I never did much baking when I worked and now that I'm not I can't stand very long, so I have to find some easy candy and cookie recipes. I am actually doing my Christmas cards this year, when I was working and doing all the shopping and stuff. I never found the time for cards, or at least that was my excuse.

Have fun baking goodies,

Lin

Laurie,

You did have a long day..but it sounds likes it was a good day though which is always nice to have. Pets are like kids..they always get more gifts...lol. 6 yrs ago I decided to make my own chritsmas ritual...the kids get up early on christmas so they get to open and play with new toys for a couple of hrs then I make a huge breakfast and we stay home and have either Ham or Roastbeef whichever they choose that year for dinner. I figured when we lived in Wisc ..which is where this ritual started..we had no family around so we had no place to rush out...but when we moved back to MA and my family are about an hr or a little more away we would keep this tradition. I like it it's restful and relaxing...no running around. We usually do Christmas eve with my mom and grandparents...always chinese food and the kids get to open 1 present each. This year though both kids want to do the big family dinner with my grandparents...I still haven't decided

whether or not to do it...I like the way Christmas has been for the last 6 yrs..I don't have any stress usually that day unless Santa forgot to buy enough batteries...lol. I used to do alot of baking this year I have done none...and I used to wrap all my gifts..but this year bags are the way to go. I hope you have a wonderful christmas ....Hugs..GinnyRoepkelaurie@... wrote:

To all my friends,

It's seems like it's been a long one. First to see the shrink doc. Who by the way says I'm doing good. Waiting to get my rides was frustrating. They forgot to pick me up after appt. so I sat there and finally called again. It took an hour to get home. I'm very gratfull they have this service but sometimes it can be a pain. It helps with my independence. I did enjoy time spent with a friend watching the movie Terminal. How insightfull it was. Then we had our annual christmas dinner. All of the people that live here came and it was good. I got my gifts from adopt a family. Received many nice things. Toby the dog got more than me. I think they where a dog loving family. Toby seems to fair well in the gift getting area than me. Should I be jealous? Now I'm very tired and hurting some. Going to try and get thru the mail. all 238 of them.
