I really wouldn't take this if you have Hashi's. I also read today on this

board that you shouldn't take it if you're Hypo at all. I think a lot of

Holistic Doctors like to give you iodine because the thyroid hormones are

derived from iodine, so it does kind of make sense. I feel that it makes the

antiboidies go crazy, and mine are crazy enough thank you! I honestly thought

I had Rheumatoid Arthritis when I toolk supplements with iodine in them. The

joints in my hands and writsts ached like a toothache! And as soon as I stopped

those supplements, so did the joint problems. Maybe the Doctor doesn't have

antibodies so it doesn't bother him. I don't know, but I sure as heck wouldn't

go looking for trouble. I think it was Caroline I told about the SeaSilver,

it's packed with iodine. I check every supplement bottle I buy, they even make

multivitamins with no iron or IODINE so there must be a lot of us out there! I

just really wouldn't risk it if I were you, I wouldn't wish that kind of pain on

anyone. If you're on really good terms with your Doctor, maybe you could do

some research and show it to him. I'm sure he wouldn't want to intentionally

harm his patients, he sounds like a great Doctor otherwise.
