Guest guest
We banded our son and his highest number of assymetry was 8mm. I wasn't happy with his head shape and like you most people wouldn't notice but I did. I think if you aren't happy with his head shape then it is worth banding him. Looking at his pictures, it very obvious to me and I would recommend banding. Good luck. It is a hard decision but most babies do really well. 9 month old son, DOC band c_greenhalge <cchretien@...> wrote: In an album titled Raden. On April 16th Raden gets measured and if he qualifies he will befitted for his helmet that day. Last week he measured 8mm of asymmetryat the PT appointment. When I look at him I see his funny shapedhead--it seems that no one else can tell though. What do you guysthink? I have read that banding is only recommended if there is 10mmof asymmetry. -CrystalMom to Raden (8.5 months) with plagio and tort Food fight? Enjoy some healthy debatein the Answers Food Drink Q&A. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for the opinions. I guess we will just wait and see what the orthotist recommends. Who knows what his head will actually measure in 15 more days. The waiting seems to be the worst part.
