Guest guest
Hi, I think there are some other danmar moms on the site, but they are less common than some others. Danmar is a passive band, which requires a little more growth but can work well if you start young ('s pretty young right?). Active bands use gentle pressure in the prominent areas to redirect growth to the flat areas. Passive bands work on the same general principle, but tend to have more room/less pressure. Both can work, but active bands are usually a little quicker, which is important for older babies that have less growth. Active bands need to be adjusted more frequently. (DOCband, STARband and Hanger are all active bands). Insurers cover a variety of bands depending on where you are located. I think there have been a few recent " success stories " with danmar. you may want to search the messages. -christine sydney 15 mo starband grad > > > > Just downloaded some pictures of Sara.
