Guest guest
Sally, Since your post was about Croc shoes, and shoes are always a major topic of discussion, I shared your post with the HSP-List, along with the Croc website. Below are the replies. ------------------- Thanks for the post, .....I had no idea they had a website.....they are the fad around here......guys (mostly collage age) and gals all over the place wear them.....I was even given a black pair as house slippers for my birthday because they are completely a soft-semi spongy plastic, one piece, and fully washable......and yes, they are comfortable, though I wore mine out once and had to buy another pair of socks for more padding while I was out as the strap axis irritated (the strap can be worn top or back of foot).....and yes, they are very lightweight, easy on, easy off.......plus, they protect the toes...... I've seen them at WalMart and Target for $9.99, then at Payless for $14.99......in a discussion with a friend about this price disparity, she said the department stores have them too for around 30 bucks, but she thinks those are true crocs and are softer than the knockoffs at other stores......(apparently I was worth the 30 bucks <g>)..... Lurk ------------- One of the very great things about these is that they are made of a material that doesn't get that bad smell like shoes sometimes do. They are every where around here. I guess that's because someone around here came up with them.
