One week ago today I found out I had fibroids and tomorrow I go for

my MRI. I am kind of apperhencive about it but my hubby is supporting

me all the way and he saids there is nothing to worry about it. May

God be with all of you.

Hi,

Does it help to know it doesn't hurt? You sometimes can get a open MRI if being

enclosed bothers you.

My thoughts will be with you, good luck tomorrow.

Sandy,

They will offer you head-phones to help block out the noise. Take

your favorite CD and ask they to play it. I took a yoga CD. It

worked perfectly to help me stay relaxed. Also, I found a sleep mask

to be very helpful. If you don't have a mask, just place a towel or

scarf over your eyes. You don't really need to see the inside of

the tube anyway. Good luck tomorrow! It's not that bad at all.

You'll be fine.
