Guest guest
I took alyssa to cardnil glennon hospital in st louis on may 2 and we had an absolutly horrible experience. Dr. Carstens was so rude to me. Of course I had a million questions and everytime I asked him one he would turn and talk to my mom. Now I know I look like I am about 13 but I am actually about to turn 20. He asked who alyssas mom was when he came in so he knew it was me, I dont know what his problem was... He started talking about alyssa needing plastic surgury and I was shocked. When I took her to CT they said surgury wouldnt be nessacery in alyssa's case, a helmet would fix most of her problems. He didnt spend much time in our room and just seemed to busy for my little girl. When we left I called my ped crying and she referred us to Dr. Naidoo at childrens also in st louis and we got in to see her in 2 days! It went great. Alyssa should be getting her band sometime next week. Dr. Naidoo said alyssa is only moderate and surgury isnt needed. Now I have started to notice that alyssa doesnt use her left hand as well as her right I am wondering if it is a vision problem or just that she prefers her right hand. Has anyone else noticed this? She does physical therepy for her torticollis so we work on using her left hand there and it is getting better I just dont want her falling behind.....
