Guest guest
Hi, I'm 44 years old, and have a 20 cm fibroid(s). I have an appointment to get Lupron shots (It's not actually Lupron, he switched it to something else which I can't remember) to shrink the fibroid and get my blood count up so I can have surgery. I have decided to have a partial hysterectomy in the spring. My gynocologist is prescribing add-back estrogen to lessen the side- effects of the Lupron-like shots. I thought that would counteract the shots. Does anyone have experience with the shots that bring on menopause and the add-back estrogen? Thanks,
