Greetings Ladies & Happy weekend!

My friend's mother (with whom I'm pretty close) is going in for a heart valve

replacement on Monday.

I'd like to buy her a little gift to take to the hospital with her- something

that she could really use and enjoy. Did any of you get anything especially

appreciated when you went in for your myos?

ANY suggestions appreciated! (time is of the essence :)

A PILLOW!!!!!

That was the thing I still carry around. And my dad

still has his from his heart surgery.

FOOTIES

I had navy blue footies made from flannel with teddy

bears on them

A BOOK

nothing too funny (laughing hurts) or that requires

too much thought (pain meds equal sleeping a lot or

low concentration)

I have given this a lot of thought. Seeing as in a few weeks I will be

staying overnight in the hospital for my surgery this is some of the things

on my list...

1. A good book

2. My favorite body lotion...it's from Bath and Body works called 'Juniper

Breeze'

3. Soft night shirt that is loose enough to be comfortable

4. If they have a cd player with them for afterwards, maybe some soft

classical cd's or favorite music
