Guest guest
Donna, your post concerned me. If you are returning to that Endo, or to the " they " you mention, you will NOT get the treatment you need. Docs like the ones you mentioned are NOT informed. And even if they did agree to put you on Armour, their ignorance about the efficacy of Armour will mean they will not allow you ENOUGH to shrink the nodule. (If you are talking about a bening nodule (I didn't see your original post) due to thyroiditis, Armour and Armour in an optimal dose WILL shrink it.) You need to find an INFORMED, open-minded doc. Yes, it's hard. But it can be done, and you may need to drive a distance. Janie > Thanks Cindi, I did the blood work and they had put me on synthriod to try to surpress and shrink the nods but it didn't work and they just keep growing. My endo doc seem to think drug therapy will not work and this is the second endo doc that said I should have it removed. I don't know if I should demand to try drug therapy first , find a new doc or just get it removed so I came get back to normal. I don't know anyone that has had it removed so i don't know what to expect. My dad told me about armour so I will bring that up with the doc's. Thanks again, Donna
