Alice Re: Digest Number 3174 I am so sorry to hear Alice has left us. I had the privilege of meeting her at the Dallas Conference and she was one of the first people who welcomed me into the mito world and invited me into . Her generosity and kindness were unmeasureable. May God give you and your family comfort and this time. Please know the mito family shares in your loss and prays with you..... Guest guest
Hi Alice, I am so glad you are alright! I never saw a message to me from you:( When I came on I realized after a few posts that something must had happened to Laurie and 's mom, but must of caught the end of that too. Prayers to you for your surgery. Smiles and love, Re: Digest Number 3174 I am so sorry to hear Alice has left us. Guest guest
Thanks , Well.. let me officially welcome you back (again). I've been very busy but have tried to go back thru the archives and find an message that came to the list just a few days ago about McArdles but I'm still looking. I'm not nearly as fast as I used to be. I was so sorry to read all that you've been thru. This must have been very hard on you and now to be dealing with a memory disorder on top of it has to be distressing. I'm not nearly as active on the list as I used to be because I've had some bad months too..but nothing like yours. My issues have made looking at the computer very difficult so there's less of me here but not in spirit. Laurie, and I have been communicating privately about the passing of their mom. Losing a Mom is one of the hardest things in life, even though they watched her struggle thru the last days. Now is their time to heal. Alice > Hi Alice, > > I am so glad you are alright! Guest guest
Thanks for the welcome back Alice, Accept for the skin cancer and the fact that I don't know if I am coming or going anymore, I am really doing pretty good! I don't know if I was on the list when I went into respiratory distress about a year and a half ago? If not, then I will tell you what happened. I caught a cold and spent a very scary week in the hospital and the rest is history. I have been on oxygen at night and during the day as needed for the last year and a half (maybe 2 years) and it has made the world of difference in my muscle pain. Incredible. Not to say it is all gone by a long shot, but my muscle has softened and as long as I don't try to live a normal life I do much better. Still struggle with lack of energy of course. But have much more than I did without the oxygen. As far as the skin cancer surgery......... well, people aren't noticing my wrinkles or fat now when they look at me:) They did say in 6 months I will be amazed at how much better the graft will look. Are you getting the second CI because the first failed or getting one for the other side? Do you still have your service dog and how has that worked out? I have thought of you often. Smiles, Re: Digest Number 3174 > > > > > > I am so sorry to hear Alice has left us.
