The following story makes me very, very angry. Why was this 35 year

old undergoing hysterectomy, is what I want to know? Clearly, it

wasn't for cancer or they would have written it as such. A truly

tragic loss.

The inspirational founder of a Teesside children's charity who worked

The family of 35-year-old Lesley Hanson have spoken of their

Ya' know...if docs would come out of their silly brotherly cocoons and

begin to actually forcefully weed out their peers who should NOT be

docs at all...perhaps lawsuits and malpractice fees wouldn't be so

high...AND, if more patients would take the time to file appropriate

complaints against docs, maybe there would be more proper sanctions

against the bad guys " out there " practicing.

ly, I'm tired of reading about this issue, am fed up with docs

whining about it all but who won't do a damn thing to block bad docs

from doing surgery at THEIR hospital, sick of women who write and

complain to me about docs like Dr. Bruce McLucas but then don't bother

to file a complaint, but now get to be angry over paying more to

cover the higher costs of malpractice insurance. If we'd all do what

we could to pitch in and file those complaints and take appropriate

actions against bad docs, maybe, just maybe, there'd be a few less

reasons for lawsuits...

comes up for renewal in September, she's expecting to see it jump to

$80,000, the cost now paid by a colleague who was renewed this month.
