Guest guest
Hello Ladies, Just to let you know I’m having my myo (finally!) on Monday, 19th January at 10.30am (UK time). The good news is that last minute (yesterday) a friend of mine called me to say she’s coming with me to hospital as I have no family here, and even though I tried to politely decline (as it would mean her taking time off work), she would not take no for an answer. Not only that, she even arranged for her friend to drive us to the hospital so that I don’t have to catch a cab! So at least I’ll have a friendly face to say goodbye to you when I’m wheeled into the O.R.! I’m starting to think that God is being a bit kinder on me Please will you all think of me on Monday (it might be US Sunday night during your sleeping hours, so ladies in US can think of me before going to sleep ;-)) and keep all fingers crossed. I’ll be brave. And I’ll report back to the group when I’m back to London (I’ ll be away the week after hospital to recover at a friend’s house up north, so I won’t be able to write again until early February). Anybody else having a myo in Jan. or early Feb., I wish you all the best! I really just want this to be over now, so sick of waiting/worrying. I’m going to go start packing for hospital and clean the house now, so goodbye to you ladies for now. Chie

Hi Chie Best of luck- just remember you'll be feeling tons better when it's all over so it will all be worth it. I'm glad some friends are taking you- I'm hoping to arrange that too- I think it's good to have moral support. Mine's on 6th Feb in Manchester UK, so I'm beginning to get a bit nervous.
