I wanted to sit down after reading all the warm replies to my being scared

of surgery and going under and THANK YOU so very much. I don't feel so alone

anymore and feel that I am the biggest baby there ever was at 36 years of

age!! I will also start reading my favorite books, mostly about horses,

watching movies that I love, such as 'Legends of the Fall', and do what some

of you other ladies did just before your own surgery.

I keep telling myself that though I am scared, this is for my own good as it

has to be done. I am compiling a list of questions to ask my doctor when he

calls next week to see how I am doing and will write down what his reply is

to them. I picked up my birth control pills he wants me to double up on for

a few days then take them once a day after I do the doubling up and also

have not seen any real change from the Depo-Luepron (sp?) shot. I am still

spotting, still have light and sometimes big slough off pieces, sorry a bit

gross, so I will take this day by day for the next few weeks till I go into

surgery on the 11th of Feb.

I got through a D and C in April of last year with being sick when I came

out of surgery so I know I can do this too. Will pack crackers and 7-Up in

my back pack along with my comfy clothes to go home in. At the military

hospital I will be going to, they give you a large cup of ice and apple

juice, the taste of the juice along with the anesthesia taste made me gag

then start to throw up over and over till I had nothing in my stomach to

throw up, just dry heaves. Hopefully if I drink the 7-Up instead it will be

a bit easier on my stomach.

HUGS LADIES!! And thank you again...

" I've dealt with my ghosts and

I've faced all my demons,

Finally content with a past I regret.

I've found you find strength

In your moments of weakness,

For once I'm at peace with myself.

I've been burdened with blame,

Trapped in the past for too long...

I'm moving on. "

no problem and you are not the biggest baby. You

are doing fine. This is scary and stressful but also

great. To make you feel better :Remember I have done

this twice. I was terrible before the first time. I

kept asking people for ideas. I was stress incarnate.

Why do you think I read so much...watched every video

I owned...rearranged my house...was afraid to speak at

work because I had the urge to tell my coworkers to

quit complaining and fighting and just SHUT UP. (I

didn't do so well on that last one :) )I was

terrible...Ku and Roma can tell you. You are not

alone.

But I got through it. And so did JenD and Ku who went

through their first one about the same time. You are

not alone...not in the pain, bleeding or the stress.

None of us are alone in this...it is just most women

think it is a secret to be kept. It isn't and we are

here to listen, chat and tell you you can do this.

For the nuatiousness(sp), if you tell the Docs ahead

of time that this happens they can prevent it :) Yes

no need for it. Post myo upset stomach is a no. So

remember to tell them.

Good Luck and take care. Have anything good to

read.(..I'm running out of books)? Lots of smiles and

virtual hugs...you will be fine.
