Ive been up all night so forgive me if this piost is a bit confusing or

anyting. I was suppoxsed to have a EGD with several sphincter

dialations today and some other tests but I had a cluster of seizures

last night which led to postictal probs of a migraine, vomiting and

still having severe myoclonus. Had to reschuedle. I might be going to

the ER if it gets worse. Anyways, thats not the reasom for this post.

My mom I also believe has mito as she has dysautonomia, mild heart and

lung issues, and alot of GI probs and muscle pain and fatigue. Lately

(past 2 mos) she has been having severe lower right abdominal pain that

goes around to her back. They first thought it just was her muscles or

a pinched nerve. But she kept getting attacks of extreme deep pain and

along with it dizziness and some other symptoms. She finally got a CT

scan of her abdomen and they found that she has a cyst on her liver and

a mass on one of her adrenal glands. My mom also has sarcoidosis which

only has caused her probs with growths under her skin mainly.

Anyways.....her dr isnt worried about the cyst on the liver but she is

worried about the adrenal mass. She now is getting an MRI of her

adrenal glands and that area of her abdomen with gadolinium on Mon.

Seems they either suspect it being a granuloma from sarcoidosis or a

phenochromocytoma. But it is still worrisome the possiblity of it being

malignant. I'm also wondering if any has had cysts on their liver or

adrenal masses and if this could at all be related to mito? The dr did

say that this could be causing her probs with fluctuating blood

pressure, heart palps, extreme sweating, shortness of breath,

dizziness, etc (bunch of dysautonomia symptoms) but shes had

dysautonomia symptoms for a while, maybe this is just agravating them

though. Anyways, just had to vent about this- its got me worried sick

and just wanted to see if anyone else has delt with anything similar.

My mom is then going out of town next week to go take my grandmother to

a drs appt and watch after her- my grandmo!

ther's dementia is getting alot worse recently causing her to have

paranoia, rage and a bunch of other emotions- she supposively is

causing probs in her small town. Just another stress on my mom and I

know shes dealing with so much right now. I feel like shes been my main

caregiver for so long and just feel that if she gets sicker, I cant do

the same when I so much want to. Anyways, this is getting long and im

starting to see double again so im gonna end this- im so thankful for

you guys. hopefully soon will be able to participate more here. i know

yall understand and hate everyone else deals with so much also. ok,
