My gp told me that the suggested time between eating or drinking

anything after taking thyroid hormone is two hours. I just try to

stay away from calcium for an hour. I'm with you - I like cereal

for breakfast.

I leave mine until it is disolved completely. Depending on how dry my mouth is -

this morning it took about half an hour for two 1/2 grain pills. I usually put

them in when my hubby's alarm goes off. Then they're disolved by the time I have

to get up.

I do swallow some of what is disolved -

I don't get it either. If you do Armour sublingually, how long do you leave it

there to get absorbed into the bloodstream?

Okay thanks Cris, that is what I do. I put it between the cheek and gum and

leave it there for about 1/2 hour.

I try to wait - even though I take mine sublingually.

Only time I don't wait, is if I have to leave the house early - I have to eat in

the morning or I feel lousy.

I've been waiting l/2 hours between taking morning pain pill & Armour

sublingually. Then another l/2 to an hour hour before eating. Same thing in

the afternoon after my nap.
