Guest guest
Hi Yolanda, I'm glad to hear you have your results, and like the majority of women with fibroids, there is no malignancy. Do you have a copy of your ultrasound results? Do you know if it is a submucosal fibroid? If it is a small submucosal-recall in message 44064? you said your gyne advised that the " fibroid was too small for problems " . As KU Kukalaka) said in message 44070, you might be a good candidate for a hysteroscopic resection which could remove both the possible submucosal and endometrial polyp. Yolanda, is your gyne a member of of AAGL (American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists) AAGL.com-go to the site, find the Doctor locator, type in Houston, TX Could she do a resection for you? Also, as ROMA always reminds us, we blame alot of symptoms on our fibroids/uterus, alot. Since you have a pre-existing bladder condition, were you ever diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis http://www.ichelp.com/whatisic/AnIntroductionToIC.html Look carefully at the symptoms-including very frequent urination. I know you've got too much on your plate, healthwise, Yolanda with Lupus, Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis--autoimmune type diseases. But please consider what your uterus does besides nurturing those 2 beautiful children of yours for the first 9 months of their lives (and congratulations on the adoption of your 3rd--wish we could see a family photo!) -beta endorphins made by the uterus and other hormones help us feel right & impact all of our body. -our bodies make our own antibiotics and surprisingly in women, they're right smack in the reproductive tracts, like the uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes & ureters. Then there's prostaglandins protecting against heart disease and prostacyclins helping blood vessels to relax.... did i miss something? how about those lovely contractions as your uterus lifts and expands during orgasm... Thinking of you, Marsha > my biopsy came out that it is fibroids plus endomertial polyp.
