SAN FRANCISCO MEETING – FOR FIBROID WOMEN

-- All Welcome –

As I’ve posted before – a few of us are going to try to GET TOGETHER IN SAN

FRANCISCO for late-lunch - Sunday afternoon Jan 25 (not this weekend – but

NEXT weekend) to get to know one another – make some friends -- have a good

time -- TALK and TALK and TALK and TALK SOME MORE.

I’ve not been to this place --- but it’s recommended & sounds fun.

It’s in the Mission -- a funky and fun neighborhood.

It’s close to BART and there’s parking nearby (garage on 21st St) !

Seems like it should be a most suitable meeting place.

Besides, if we get too rambunctious and they throw us out – there are plenty

of other restaurants in the neighborhood.

Besides myself and my vag myo story – It looks like 2 ladies who’ve had

successful UFE will likely be there & I believe some abdominal myo ladies as

well.

Cari:

I had a totally prolapsed pedunculated fibroid which was in the cervix – I

was bleeding bleeding bleeding. It was removed by vaginal myo which was

extremely quick & easy with practically no recovery period at all. One of

the neat things was I got to SEE the fibroid after they got it out ! For

more of the story – listen to the KQED radio program from last week in which

I was the long-suffering blood & guts fibroid patient. Carla, the excellent

expert & our fearless leader is a star of that show & it also features

Indman, M.D.– There’s an on-line audio file.

I'm going to be down from Seattle in San Francisco for a business

workshop on Friday and Saturday and hoped to meet you all on Sunday.

My return flight is at 4:16 however and I don't think that leaves me

much of a chance to meet with the SF area folks due to airport check-

in times, etc.
