Guest guest
Hello everyone! New to this board and hoping for some insight for my son's plagio. I took my son (3 1/2 months) into the doctor yesterday to have his head looked at since it was flat and has been ever since birth. The first thing they told me was that my insurance company won't cover it if he needed a helmet. They told me he has a moderate case and I was told to come back in a month and see what his progress is. He was looking really good since he didn't have any facial distortions. They advised me of all sorts of ways to reposition him. Any way we can keep him off his head except for sleeping. I hope all of this works so he wont need a helmet. So my question is this: If the result are not favorable and we need to have a helmet cast for him do we still try to submit our claim to my insurance company even though they have denied us? Or do we need to get some sort of letter sent to them. All this is so new..I'm a little lost and overwhelmed.
