uterinefibroids group:

MYOMECTOMY FOR PEDUNCULATED: This

anonymous poll is for women who have

have had a “myo”- myomectomy [or

emergency hysterectomy] for a large

subserosal [exterior of uterus]

pedunculated fibroids. Please reply

if your operation was AT LEAST 2

months ago. The first set of

questions is for all women, the second

set, as indicated, is for women who

are not menopausal nor perimenopausal,

and whose surgeries were at least 1

year ago….. For those interested in

the results: they will be sent to the

entire group in 1-2 weeks, so please

o My ovaries were damaged and take HRT as a result of myo.

o I’ve needed a second surgery to fix problems with myo

o I’ve had continual urinary problems since the myo.

o The overall surgery/recuperation was better than I thought.
