Guest guest
I took my son,to Crainial Technologies for a consultation yesterday, and they recommended the Doc Band. He told me that it was severe, and when they were taking pictures of him, I asked what was the symmetry off by, and she said 10 mm. From what I have read, 10 mm doesn't seem to be severe. I have a consultation with an actual physician at a prominent hospital that uses " generic helmets " to correct the plagio. A child at my son's daycare has gone here with success. I also contacted someone that uses the Hanger band. His head has gotten somewhat better in the past week, as he is sitting up more. My other son had a very flat head when he was this age, and it filled out itself. (I didn't know plagio was a condition! when I saw his head flattened). I wondering if I should give it a month or two to see if it straightens out on its on, or get a band now. My insurance will cover Zero!!!! Doc-3000.00 Hanger-1200.00 Band at hospital fitted by an actual physician and monitored biweekly-600.00 I don't know which is the best route??????? Any suggestions
