Hi ,

I did hear from another woman on this list who has had the procedure. She

explained that they only zap the center of the fibroid and that she was shown

what the fibroids look like on the MRI.She stated that it's very easy to

decipher what is fibroid and what is not. This gives me peace and confidence to

go forward.

Perhaps they will give me an opportunity to ask questions when I go in for my

treatment. I'd like to see what my fibroids look like on the MRI. I'd like to

know what it's going to feel like to be " consiously sedated " . I hope it will be

good! I had a few " bad trips " when I was a teenager in the 70's, so now I'm a

bit nervous about taking drugs.

Trying to just take it a day at a time and not let my imagination run wild!

hi lisa - i hear your concerns and i would think that whoever is

doing the FUS should be able to answer those questions to your

satisfaction before you proceed. will you have a chance to meet with

the folks who are doing the study before you move ahead with it?
