Guest guest
I'm new to the board and just saw your question. My uterus is coming it at about 21-22 cm at this point. It is above my belly button. I am petrified. > Turns out I have a 7 cm fibroid. and my > overall uterus size is 12 cm. > I am just curious as to how big or small it is in relation to everybody > else's
Guest guest
> I was told my uterus was large also but after some research I found that a normal size is about 10cm. Mine is also 11cm. I have 3 fibriods that the largest is 3cm. I have a problem with bleeding and irregular periods but am on iron supplements, and I take vitamin A, E, B-6 , B-12, C,zinc, and avoid red meat, especilly when I am bleeding. I was told I had to have a hysterectomy but after reading other stories and doing alot of research I am definatly not going that route. I am waiting.Dr. says that I am going through menopause so I am just biding my time. My doctor said I have 4 small fibroids, about 3/4-1 in. each. I was curious why yours receommended a hysterectomy even though yours seem small too. Any help is appreciated, I am new to this whole idea and have not met with my gyn yet to discuss options. Thanks.
