Guest guest
I was telling this lady at work about how much it cost for Snot's medication. And she said that oh dogs are just animals. It's like what about seeing eye dogs, guide dogs, dogs who can sense seizures/cancer etc, dogs that have alerted people to fires and saved their lives, rescue dogs etc. There is a tight connection between animals and humans. I remember after the accident when I had a serious head injury I came home and the 1st few nights Snot slept right by my head like he knew I had had a head injury. The week before I lost him he was sleeping right next to me. He had never slept there before. I am a firm believer in the animal human connection and the facts that A)some people need animals around them (like me) and B)some people shouldn't be allowed to have pets (the ones who buy a puppy and when it grows into a big dog they dump it off a the shelter or worse just dump it anywhere.)
