Guest guest
I’ve been chuckling all morning about this & just HAVE to share. In the process of looking at free knitting patterns on the web – I ran into this free knitting pattern for a UTERUS. (Of COURSE it's free, who would pay for a uterus knitting pattern?) -- No, I’m not kidding – a pattern for knitting your own hand-made uterus – you can knit a small uterus or a large uterus -- in the color of your choice I suppose -- possibly varigated black & blue for someone who has recently had a myo. What's more: the opening is “controlled” with seam binding or ribbon. Now, who would knit a uterus – or would want to OWN a hand-knit uterus? I’ve been given some really strange gifts – but NEVER a hand-knit uterus! If you did decide to make one, how would you choose – knit a small uterus or a large one? My imagination has been running wild with this ! -- especially about “controlling” the opening with seam binding or ribbon. And also, what about fibroids?? – Perhaps someone would like to modify this pattern so that the little hand-knit uteri could have little hand-knit fibroids – type(s), size(s) and placement(s) of your choosing – maybe you could try to knit up a uterus with fibroids just like your own. WHY, OH WHY? I’ve been enjoying this alone for too long. Sorry for the silliness, but just HAD to share! – This is much better than a fibroid costume. Or perhaps we could knit a really gigantic uterus costume complete with fibroids !!! -- I dunno -- I give up -- This is TOO ludicrous . . . http://web.archive.org/web/20010809171206/http://www.mother-care.ab.ca/uterus.ht\ m If anyone decides to actually knit a uterus – PLEASE post a photo of it ! Happy knitting to all and to all a good-night.
