Guest guest Posted January 5, 2004 Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 I'll venture to guess that myomectomies have been done in Canada for much longer than 2 - 3 years! It's not a 3rd world country after all. I knew that myos must have been done somewhere in Canada for 2 or 3 years now because I had read about it in a canadian magazine (I think it was Canadian Living) several years ago and at the time it was supposed to be in studies in Canada, but my gyn would never even consider it. Either he was uninformed or just not comfortable with a new proceedure like that, I don't know. He seemed pretty excited about the option this time when I went to him and he suggested it.
