it is not too late for treatment. you should get an evaluation from a

cranial facial specialist or a band provider (sometimes that is easier

initially than getting a doctor's referral). once you have an idea of

the severity it will be easier to tell if something should be done. If

he's moderate to severe I would band because it will likely not round

out on its own.

8 months is definitely not too late for treatment, but he's at the

age it's not likely it will improve much on it's own. Here is a

link to the site for the makers of the DOCband. If there is a

location near you they'll usually provide free consultations (even

without a referral) and help you find a band friendly doctor if your

doctor refuses to write a prescription. Since head growth has

slowed, the earlier you start the better.
