Guest guest
, I caught your mention of your shoulder pain. I don't remember if we talked about before. Have you ever had an MRI on it to determine what the problem is? Several of us on the list have shoulder problems, some have had replacements (like Kim). I have a torn rotator cuff of my right shoulder (which I believe is disease-related, not the result of an injury), and the pain was so bad at one point that I couldn't sleep. It has settled down, but I do baby it. My left shoulder is funky as well, but not as bad. Hope you and your doc can figure out your shoulder and your lungs. ----- Original Message ----- From: <linda@...> < egroups> Sent: Sunday, April 09, 2000 12:17 AM Subject: RE: [ ] 2 Inhibitors > Shirley- > I've been on Vioxx since last November. Guest guest
Thank you very much, Ling! Singapore has always seemed like such an exotic place! I'll bet it is beautiful there. Are you originally from there, or are you a " transplant " from some other exotic place? *grins* I would enjoy living someplace a little more exotic and beautiful. There isn't much here but corn, where I live! Corn, and flat ground. Best of health to you! ~ P.
Guest guest
Hi ! I was born in Singapore, and had been staying there ever since. Where are you from? [sorry, lazy to refer to you member profile.] I am a Chinese, so the main food here is rice cum dishes, but I enjoy eating all kinds of food, especially pasta!!! Thanks for saying that Singapore is exotic, it is really an over-compliment! It is just a multi-racial society, that's all, with Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians as our major 4 races. DO you mean that you eat corn for your main meals? What do you eat it with? Ling --- mamafeathers@... wrote: > Thank you very much, Ling! > > Singapore has always seemed like such an exotic > place! Guest guest
My Dear , Lots of people have opinions, but you know the old expression, don't you? " Opinions are like a* & ^%$#'s, everyone has one. " Excuse the coarseness, but it fits here! G-d gave us people with brilliant minds to make technology that helps people. If it wasn't meant to be for whatever reason, it wouldn't be. So you just rest you mind and be at ease that there will always be someone who doesn't like your choice in life. Here's another expression; " That's what makes horseracing! " LOL Now go read the list I sent you privately so you can keep the people in the hospital in line! LOL And Relax!! It's gonna' be fine! ) Jackie

Guest guest
> Did you have residual hearing left after the CI? > Hey ! You know? I don't think I have any residual hearing, but then I've not put the BTE I was wearing prior to implantation in, in order to check! I have been told by a few that they do have some residual hearing. Without " aid " , I can't hear anything - that I know. I will try to remember to test this and get back to you.
