Guest guest
That's what I had...an underbite and a Lefort 1. I'm two weeks post op and my surgeon said to take four weeks off. But I also had a BSSO (lower jaw surgery) and a genio, so if you're only having a leForte, it may heal faster. If you have a desk job, you may be up to working at three weeks. Your face will still be swollen for about a month, so appearing in public with a puffy face is something to consider. The body needs lots of rest to heal, so don't push it.
