What's with the cut-off point for 48 years old?

I'm finding that kind of objectionable. I'm 49. However, I was 1 month short

of my 49th birthday when I had the procedure.

Hi all,

No need to think any age-ism is at work regarding my UAE poll; I'm

sure everyone here knows that [peri]menopause can GREATLY GREATLY

effect fibroid symptoms. I'm trying to rule out menopause as a

complicating factor when looking at women's experiences with UAE,

especially when a possible side effect of UAE is premature menopause

[ie-can a 55 year old woman, for example, really 'know' if the UAE

caused her menopause, or if it is 'her time'?].

Certainly any 49ish woman who's had UAE and is ABSOLUTELY certain

she is no where near menopause is warmly invited to reply to the

poll.
