Guest guest
Well, I'm recovering from my myo of 11/18/2003. As I get back into the swing of things I realize that it is tempting to do too much too soon. I've already posted about the swelling in my tummy. I think that the swelling, just like my overall condition, is better some days than others. I think that it is especially bad since I had both a laparoscopy and an abdominal incision on the same day. Today I noticed for the first time ever that I have stretch marks on my stomach. So, to all of you who've had stretch marks, either from pregnancy or surgery, which cure works? Also==--e,, myo scars are not the only thing that we have in common. I also work with people with disabilities. It has been very interesting for my clients and I because as I was preparing for surgery, it was as if the tables had turned. Instead of me being the one to speak in soothing terms and reassure that everything would be ok, my clients came to my aid and promised me that I'd be okay. This was very reassuring as I knew that my clients have all undergone various medical procedures. K
