Guest guest
Once I was back home after my operation I had showers rather than a bath. I was worried that getting into the bath and out again might have hurt, using the stomach muscles, or that I might slip. I knew when it was OK to shower at the hospital because a nurse said it was all right. I used my own shower/body wash (a senstive skin brand) the nurse had used for a bed bath on my second day. It's wise to take in a flannel or sponge. I have long hair and generally wash it in the shower or leaning over the bath, using the shower attatchment anyway.
