Guest guest
I think the time required depends on the number of fibroids, whether they're inside the uterus, and whether there are any complicating factors. My surgery took about an hour and was fairly straightforward. I had one large (11 cm) fibroid that we knew about ahead of time and two tiny ones that had just started growing. My fibroid was on a stalk outside my uterus. Your doctor can give you an estimate of how long your surgery will take. Guest guest
Hi there, I had an ab-myo on Dec 1st. Surgery to remove 4 fibroids was about 2 hours. My other suggestion pre surgery is to give up caffeine to avoid a headache. I did that and felt much better than others who suffered with a headache as well. I am now just 3 weeks post and feeling great. Still run out of energy if i try my usual things like walking too much, but overall feel great. Email me if you have any specific questions.
