If you have any other ideas let > me know. > > Wonder how many of us here are on Megace or were for > any extended time? > > e -----------------------------------------yes I wondered if I had forgot to take my megace and that was the reason for the gushing episode.But since the incident in dec.I've been wearing a pad and tampon.I too was feeling pretty confident and was just wearing a tampon without the pad.But not since the gusher.I seem to be doing a little more bleeding since the gusher especially if I'm on my feet to long.I'm due for a MRI on Jan 21st and will be having a UFE some time in feb.I have to get off the magace and go on B/C pills for at least 4 weeks.My IR suggested that I go on bc because he said with some meds may cause the vessels to shrink and once I had the ufe and got off the megace the vessels would go back to normal and the procedure could fail.He was not sure if magace was one of these meds that do that so he needed to talk with my gyno and suggested the bc pills.I'm not to happy about going on the pill because I'll have to have a period.But I will if it will help to get a better outcome for ufe.
