Guest guest
Date: Tue, 9 Aug 2005 18:09:37 -0600 Subject: Air Travel info for the disabled All, If you actually get this twice, I guess I really didn't send it to the = wrong address. Delete one of them, my bad! I requested info on assistance for the disabled in the event of an = emergency. This is what I was directed to: Passengers with Disabilities http://airconsumer.ost.dot.gov/publications/disabled.htm New Horizons - Information for the Air Traveler with a Disability http://airconsumer.ost.dot.gov/publications/horizons.htm I looked most of it over, and the only mention of in the event of = emergency, the assigned attendant will assist the disabled individual = out of the aircraft. Otherwise I think it is up to us to get out our = selves. Don't get all worked up yet, I am going to respond back with = that request in particular. Otherwise there is some good information, some I didn't know, and am = glad to have read it. Maybe these links can be added to the website if = they aren't already there. Just a thought. Maybe I should check if it = might already be there. Wow, looking ahead, what a concept. Off I go on my little adventures again. By the way waterskiing is great. = Getting better air this summer from both sides of the wake, but so far, = I have only flown =BD & =BE of the way across the wake in the air. I = don't think I'm going to get the full in the air crossing this summer = :-(. Oh well, I will keep on trying. :-). You know me, kind of nuts!!! Take care all.
