[Uterinefibroids] - Roma/Take Me Into the OR

Roma (and LOL),

You may remember crafting lyrics entitled " Take Me Into the OR, " to be

accompanied by the tune " Take Me Out to the Ballpark " in early October or so.

Remember???? I was so taken with your creative lyrics that I promised (more

like threatened, I guess) to ask Dr. to sing them with me and his

surgical team before my myomectomy.

You will be pleased (I think!) to know that Dr. asked me about the lyrics

in my pre-op appointment, I brought them with me on surgery day, they were

placed in my chart and a copy was given to the surgical team!!!!! Better yet,

the surgical team sang them to me just before I was put under!!!!!!!!!!! Now,

how's that for a surgical team with a great sense of humor! The surgical nurses

were really, really into it! Also, following my surgery, several of the nurses

on my floor mentioned that they'd heard about the lyrics and wanted to see them

in my chart!!!!!! Some asked for permission to make a copy of the lyrics.

Your lyrics live on Roma and were very much appreciated! It provided a nice,

lighthearted moment before my surgery and some great fun for all of us involved.

could i get a copy of the lyrics? My boyfriend is a great baseball fan and he

is such wonderful support thru this whole thing..id love to surprise him.
