Guest guest
I heartily second Rhonda's enthusiastic recommendation of Dr. . He is nothing less than wonderful. Though I live in the LA area (his office is in Santa ), if I lived in San Diego, I would travel the extra distance to give myself the gift of being treated by such a skilled, knowledgeable, open and patient surgical specialist in fibroids. He answered all of my (many, many) questions quite openly and knowledgeably and clearly has an intimate handle on the most recent research, etc. on treatment, causes, etc. He performs many abdominal myomectomies and has a specialty in laparoscopic techniques as well. He took alot of time with me, answered all of my questions (even the silly ones -- without batting an eye, I might add!) and spent a good deal of time, explaining my fibroids to me, drawing me diagrams and thoroughly going over my MRI images. Dr. encourages calls with questions, freely and enthusiastically answers them and often reminds his patients that he is there for you if you need him. What a huge, comforting difference that makes. As I have told him -- as one who was very nervous about my first surgery -- he and he alone is entirely responsible for my calm, positive and peaceful feelings as I approached my surgery. My loved ones were astonished at the peace I enjoyed as surgery approached. I kept waiting for the nervous shoe to drop and it never did. Why, because I knew I was in the most skilled hands, I knew he helped me make the best decision for me and I just knew he and his team would take wonderful care of me. He enjoys what he does, is fascinated by it, and as his patient you reap the huge rewards of that, as well as his awesome skills. He performed my abdominal myomectomy back in October and did a flawless job in all aspects of my pre-operative, surgical, hospital and post-operative care. Preserving my fertility was a big issue for me and he displayed skill, knowledge and expertise in addressing those concerns as a part of my fibroid care. During my hospitalization, I had the opportunity to notice a vast difference in the treatment received by other myomectomy patients being treated by other surgeons (who are probably also quite capable). Many (actually most) of the other women in my area didn't see their surgeons from the time of their surgery until the morning of their discharge. In contrast, Dr. came to see me, examined my incision and talked to me each morning during my stay, called me each afternoon (just to see how I was doing) and called my nurses directly through-out my stay (including during the weekend). I suspect that I was the envy of the floor for being so well looked after. ly, I cannot imagine having gone thru the experience with any other surgeon. Though I had been very satisfied and happy with my previous gynecologist of many years, I elected to switch my regular gynecological care to Dr. after my first meeting with him. I have recommended him to several women and, without exception, I have received enthusiastic, glowing feedback each time. No surprise to me, as I KNEW that each woman would be as pleased and well taken care of as I felt. You owe it to yourself to be treated by the best. Go see Dr. . Like me, you will likely feel spoiled and unwilling to accept any longer anything less than what he and his office provide in compassion, understanding, skills and care. If you have any questions, feel free to email me privately. I'm happy to answer more specific questions (and to wax on more about how wonderful Dr. is!)
