Hi a,

Sorry it is taking me forever to get to your message, I am still trying to

catch up. Since I feel so great from the Remicade, I have been much more

active and going out more. Wow! I am so impressed with this drug! Did I

mention I went to my poetry meeting last Thursday? I hadn't been to one in

about 4 years! Everyone was so happy to see me. I really felt welcomed and

missed. They even liked the poem I brought in! I will also be going to the

poetry/fiction writing workshop Saturday. I am so happy and excited to be

back in my writing circle of friends.

Anyway, everyone who knows me and asks also thinks it strange that the warm

and hot weather bother me more than the cooler climates. The best weather for

me is high 60s to low 70s. That is the perfect weather for me. Unless I am by

a pool all day, then I don't care how hot it gets!

The humidity isn't too high. Though we do have some high humidity days. I

honestly don't know why the heat bothers me so. I just swell up really bad

and get hot, red, swollen joints. My face turns beat red, and I am often

under a cold shower. When not in the shower, I have the fan straight on me

with a popsicle in my mouth. All summer you can catch me with an otter pop in

my mouth. I eat 2 and 3 of them at a time. Yum!

((Hugs))

That is really interesting that you flare in warm weather. I am just the

opposite, I feel my BEST when it is 90. I don't know if it is the

temperature or just the fact that I am more active, and swim a lot in the

summer. Is your humidity high?

I hope the Remicade gives you the best summer ever!
