Guest guest
BARBARA- I also live in ST.LOUIS, and went through basically the same scenario you have except for the knee surgery and the blood clots,I went to BJC and was told I had ALS then they changed it to PLS and told me the same thing, We cant do anymore for you go home and live with it. I also went to NORTWESTERN UNIV HOSPITAL in CHICAGO and saw a DR. SIDDIQUE who also said I had PLS. I take 4.5 mg of NALTROXENE at night before i go to bed and also take 0.5 mg of KLONOPIN twice daily, I think the whole bunch at BJC (suck). JOHN B. Some of us know he and his staff quite well at Northwestern -- especially Nailah, his wife, but more importantly she is the clinical nurse and is in charge of the PLS Registry. Dr. Siddique will be one of the keynote speakers at our Annual Conference in Columbus, OH, Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Going to be a great Conference so try and come. This is our " biggie " and you'll meet lots of us! G. Fremont, CA sp-foundation
