Those terrible conversion charts!! Use them like a grain of salt!!

If 100 mcg. of Synthroid = one grain of Armour, as the charts state,

my optimal dose of Armour SHOULD have been 1 1/4 grains. NOT. I ONLY

found my optimal dose when I got up to 3 grains Armour!! LOL.

I was on 125 mcg Synthroid & that wasn't enough apparently as I kept getting

sicker & having more & worse symptoms. I'm now at l 3/4 grains Armour, which is

supposedly equivalent to 125 mcg Synthroid, & still having the same

symptoms...not much difference.

l'm sure I'll be needing to continue to raise my Armour or Nature Throid dosage

which I just ordered. I can't do that up to 2 grains even tho until Jan. 1st. I

doubt I'll feel much better until it's up to at least 3 grains or more tho, with

as much cell damage as I've had & my age (67) & all.

This could take a loooonnnngggg time before I'm feeling much better at all I can

now see. Oh well, they say patience is a virtue. Not much consolation when

you're as sick, tired & in so much pain as we've all been tho, is it?

I agree. 25mcgs of synthroid felt like a very strong drug, and not a

very good one, it made me sick as a dog. I am now up to one grain of

armour/naturethroid; and it works great, but it's a very gentle ,

non toxic feeling.
