I was just wondering if anyone knows if I can get this covered. I really do

need it. I remember years ago when I did have it and what a difference it

made. If anyone knows if its possible Id apprieciate it! I have aetna/us

healthcare HMO and/or out of network coverage. I am covered for my

chiropractor that has a massage therapist going to her office.

Thanks, Donna

Donna,

Aetna has something called a " Natural Alternative Provider Listing. " It is a

list of acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and nutritional

counselors. If you use a provider on their list you get a guaranteed rate,

and do not file any claim forms. The rate for massage is in the

Texas/Louisiana/New Mexico area list is $20 per half hour, which is quite

reasonable. This program is intended for use when your particular Aetna plan

does not cover the above services for other reasons under your policy.

Perhaps you can look into this? Try the Aetna website: www.aetna.com
