Guest guest
Sammie, I think you misunderstood. There have been reports of folks individually spamming a LOT of folks about products, and their email was recognized as being a member of the group. Occasionally, I also hear that one member emailed another and was threatening them because of something said--that would be an example of what I want folks to tell me so I can take care of that, too. I'm glad you found out about this group and the Graves group!! In another group I belonged to, someone emailed me privately about a treatment for my husband's prostate cancer, and that treatment turned out to be the very one we chose. It was WONDERFUL and I never would have heard about if someone had not emailed me privately! On the other side of the coin, if a member here emails you about another group, and it bothers you the way it was done, I want to know. I'm the mother hen here. LOL. Guest guest
Janie, nowadays being on any yahoo groups is getting me tons of spam. Unfortunately, I'm also getting 'virus' that aren't really coming from the people who say they are from. The spammers have gotten quite interesting, and better at what they do. :-( I get emails from co workers (or it seems it's them) but it's from a completely different person. Guest guest
> Janie, nowadays being on any yahoo groups is getting me tons of spam. Boy-howdy, isn't that the truth. My ISP doesn't block emails, and you would BLUSH BRIGHT RED if you saw the subject lines of what I get. And then all the folks who email me about the mortgage that I supposedly asked about--hahahaha. And of course, the foreign King's who email me asking for money...... This group has membership by approval only now, but I have to be wary occasionally.
