Guest guest
repo is basically keeping them off the flat spot. although babies are on their back, they may sleep facing straight up, or turn their head to one side or the other - this will determine which part of the head they are resting on. you want to change the head position. some people also choose to side sleep after having a problem with plagio, but docs usually don't recommend it, especially when they are young. if mom is at home and can watch the baby during naps, people put the baby on their tummy for naps. also when the baby is not asleep you want to keep them off the flat spot. this means no bouncy seats, no swings, limited car seat time, lots of tummy time and being held/carried.... you'll find lots of tims in the repo file secttion: Plagiocephaly/files/Repositioning%20Headqua\ rters/ -christine mom to sydney/ 13 mo/ starband grad 10-06 > > I am just curious on what exactly people mean by repositioning.
