Georgia, as Norwood about this....seem to recall posting that they found something similar recently with Nick, but I could be wrong. R.

Joyce, you mentioned 'bumps' under the skin of the head that could be the first sign of a tumour. A couple of weeks ago we took the girls bowling and noticed for the first time - I think it was because of the strong lights there - that Katrina, who is 13, has a patch on her forehead near the temple. The patch is about the size of a 20 cent piece, maybe 1 1/4 inch across, and seems to be as though something is under the skin. It isn't sore and there is no discolouration of the skin, and it is quite flat. I just noted this at the time to mention to the neuro at her appointment in December. Now maybe I'm not so sure. Is this the sort of bump you were meaning? I had never heard mention of this sort of thing, or if I had it didn't sink in. Do you think I should worry?

Georgia. And isn't that a stupid question; I'm worried already.

Try to avoid getting the bump BUMPED. They become very large after impact and don't seem to go back down, needing surgery to remove them. If it does get a knock, and once Katrina has stopped yelping, ( cause they hurt like & # & & #@ ) put ice and a pressure bandage on it TIGHT ! You only have a few hrs to reduce the swelling or it just wont go away.

Could these be plexiform fibromas like I have and others have???? I have them from my scalp line back...small and large.
