YES!!!! Getting 2nd band for Jenna

Hi,

Thanks to all of you for your support and info. We took Jenna to the

ortho today and were prepared for a big fight. But that did not

happen. The ortho said that the helmet has not fit her right from the

beginning. So they rescanned her for the 2nd helmet and there will

be NO CHARGE!!!! for the second band. He said that she is only the

second child that he has treated that needed a second band in over

100 kids that he has seen. What I think the amazing part is her ear

offset went from 14mm down to 6 mm in 4 weeks time. So the band was

working, her Anterior Symmetry is .92 and Posterior is .77 he said

they should be closer to 1.0 so we need to keep working on those

numbers.

You know how I said she was taking her band off that first night she

did it again last night without the velcro taken off. So I put it

back on her this morning and I could take the helmet off without

touching the velcro. I showed this to him and he could not believe

it. He took some material away from the opening there so it fits her

more sungly but not too tight, so she can continue to wear it until

the new one comes in.
