Hi Tequisha, I'm glad he took a second look at justin. You don't have

to go with the same brand. if you were happy with the ortho and the

results of the band you could go with the same. I think Ballert is a

passive band. you might have better correction with an active band

such as DOCband, starband or hanger. It would also depend on what is

available locally, if you are able to travel, and what insurance will

pay for.

Did you get any tips of how to discourage finger sucking? Sydney still

uses a pacifier, but one of these days we'll have to get rid of it. so

far we let her have it when she wants, which is usually just to go to

sleep.

take care. -christine

Hello All,

I do not post much. However on this topic I had to chime in. My son

was in a Danmar helmet and I switched to a Doc band. It was the best

thing I ever did for my . His head is greatly improved and

hopefully he will be done with his Doc band soon. was 7 mos

old when he received the Danmar and 10 mos when he satrted the Doc

band. I feel the Danmar helmet was to passive for age and the

severity of his brachy. The Doc band has been amazing.

Best of luck.
